Our Right Angle Countertop Support Brackets are a versatile bracket with many uses! Support an overhanging countertop, large shelves, floating benches, and much more!
Each L Bracket comes with a combination of countersunk mounting holes. The allows your mounting screws to be flush inside the bracket for a smooth finish. The mounting holes are also 1/4" thick, so a strong series of screws will support your project. The bracket is smooth and sim as well, so it won't obstruct your legs when sitting at a barstool.
Right Angle Brackets come in a many thicknesses and lengths. All brackets are 2 1/2" wide, but our variations will accommodate small residential projects to large commercial projects.
Use this bracket for a kitchen granite countertop, new bar top overhang, or shelving in your garage! This is a simple L Bracket, but is made with superior quality in our USA facility. You can trust if you use our countertop brackets, they'll support your project for a lifetime!
Product Specifications:
- Available in thicknesses: 1/4″, 3/8, 1/2".
- Available in lengths: 8", 10", 12", 15" and 18".
- All Brackets are 2 1/2″ wide.
- 45 degree beveled & smooth front edge.
- 3 countersunk mounting holes on the inside of the bracket for secure wall mount.
- 2 countersunk mounting holes on the bottom of the bracket. Allows you to screw into wood shelves/countertops for a secure mount.
- Bracket is buffed to give smooth edges and eliminate any burrs.
- Powder coated black to prevent against corrosion and rust.
Weight Capacity:
- Make sure high quality mounting hardware is used to secure bracket.
- Specific max load/weight capacities per bracket are detailed in the diagram.
- Examples:
- One 10" long 3/8" thick bracket has a weight capacity of 425 lbs.
- Two 8" long 3/8" thick brackets have a weight capacity of 1,060 lbs.
Installation Tips:
- Mounting Hardware Not Included.
- Recommending #12 tapered wood screws or 1/4" lag screws 1.5″ long.
- Drill pilot holes to avoid cracking your mounting surface.
- We recommend to install brackets before your stone or wood countertop is installed. This bracket can be installed afterwards, but it's not recommended.
- If you're using this bracket to support stone, we recommend Liquid Nails to mount the bracket to the stone.

Bracket Size Recommendations:
- 1/4" thick brackets are designed for smaller and lighter overhangs. Not recommended for thick stone or heavy applications.
- 3/8" thick brackets are our most popular. Will be plenty strong for most countertop overhangs. Used for both commercial and residential applications.
- 1/2 thick brackets are designed for long stone overhangs and commercial applications. If anyone is going to sit/lead on countertop or a large amount of weight is anticipated, we recommend this thickness.
- The bracket length should be 1" - 3" shorter than the overhang.
